About the Allergic Blogger (and allergy blog)
If you’ve linked here from the main Allergy Times site at www.allergytimes.com, you probably want to know a bit about the webmaster.
Just call me The Allergic Blogger. I’ve had allergies for as long as I can remember. It began with egg allergy and hives as a child, and asthma and multiple food allergies followed a few years later. My allergies have included peanut, tree nut, sesame, egg, wheat, tomato, and tropical fruit allergy, dogs, cats, and penicillin, among others. I’m also mildly allergic to latex and soy. I’m no longer allergic to wheat, thank goodness. I’m now a mom, and my daughter seems to be allergic only to dogs.
I’m very worried about this new allergy epidemic that seems to be sweeping developing countries.
I run a support group for allergic individuals and families. This is my allergy blog. Welcome!
